Housekeeping Attendant Job Description:
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and orderly environment for guests and staff. This role ensures that the assigned areas are kept up to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Housekeeping Attendant Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including but not limited to, guest rooms, hallways, public spaces, and restrooms.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
- Make beds and change linens.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in rooms and public areas.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste in accordance with established guidelines.
Attention to Detail:
- Ensure all rooms are well-prepared for guest arrival, with proper amenities and supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or items in need of repair to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to identify and address cleanliness and maintenance needs.
Guest Service:
- Provide a friendly and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries.
- Assist guests with directions, information, and general assistance.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with fellow housekeeping team members to ensure efficient room turnover and task completion.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to support overall guest satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to established health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and security.
Housekeeping Attendant Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
