Samosa Factory Cashiers Job Description:
The Samosa Factory Cashier is responsible for efficiently and accurately handling cash transactions at the Samosa Factory. They ensure excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, processing payments, and providing information about the products and services offered at the establishment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the Samosa Factory.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with orders.
Cash Handling:
- Accurately handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, giving change, and processing credit/debit card transactions.
- Ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Order Processing:
- Assist customers in placing their orders and ensure that they are correctly processed and prepared in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and prompt order fulfillment.
Product Knowledge:
- Have a thorough understanding of the products available, including samosas, sauces, and other offerings on the menu.
- Provide information to customers about the ingredients, flavors, and cooking methods of the various samosa options.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, including the cash register and surrounding workspace.
- Assist in keeping the dining and serving areas tidy and presentable to enhance the overall customer experience.
Cash Register Operations:
- Operate the cash register efficiently, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and receipts are provided to customers.
- Keep track of cash flow, refunds, discounts, and voids in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Cash Management:
- Assist in monitoring and managing the cash drawer to ensure adequate change for transactions and request replenishment as needed.
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures to maintain security and minimize potential losses.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other staff to maintain a cohesive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cash handling and customer service is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
