One Dollar Shop Store Clerk Job Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance:

Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products.

Provide information about product features, prices, and promotions.

Cashier Duties:

Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Accept payments, make change, and issue receipts.

Inventory Management:

Receive, verify, and unpack merchandise deliveries.

Organize and display products on shelves and racks to maintain a tidy and appealing store appearance.

Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.

Store Maintenance:

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable to customers at all times.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.

Check and maintain the working condition of store equipment.

Security and Loss Prevention:

Monitor customer activity to prevent theft and report any suspicious behavior.

Follow store policies and procedures related to loss prevention and security.

Compliance and Policies:

Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and safety standards.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other store staff to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Support fellow team members in their tasks and responsibilities.

One Dollar Shop Store Clerk Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
