Dishwasher Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team and maintain cleanliness in our kitchen. The Dishwasher’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding sanitation standards.

Dishwasher Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to established standards.

Organizing and Storing: Properly stack and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment. Assist in organizing storage areas to maintain cleanliness and accessibility.

Assistance in Kitchen Operations: Support kitchen staff by ensuring they have the necessary clean items during busy periods. Assist in basic food preparation tasks as required.

Maintenance of Equipment: Regularly clean and maintain dishwashing equipment. Report any malfunction or repair needs promptly.

Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with caution and in accordance with safety protocols.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times.

Dishwasher Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and guidelines.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
