Truck loader Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Truck Loader to join our team. As a Truck Loader, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and proper loading of goods onto delivery trucks. Your attention to detail and adherence to loading procedures will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries.

Truck loader Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods onto delivery trucks following established safety protocols and loading procedures.
• Check and verify the accuracy of shipment details against the delivery schedule to ensure proper dispatch.
• Organize and arrange items in the truck to maximize space utilization and prevent damage during transit.
• Securely fasten the cargo using straps, ropes, and other appropriate securing materials to prevent shifting during transport.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to gather and prepare goods for loading, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Inspect loading equipment and tools regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized loading area, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist drivers in conducting pre-trip inspections of the truck and ensuring all necessary equipment is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members to coordinate loading schedules and resolve any loading-related issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety, quality, and delivery deadlines.

Truck loader Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in loading/unloading trucks or working in a warehouse environment is an advantage.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods to prevent damages.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• Knowledge of proper loading techniques, safety regulations, and equipment operation is preferred.
